THE CODE MADE ME ABSENT FOR THE CLASS
-
@Reynald I have had a code plenty of time and yes it can take some extra time to enter the platform. It's annoying. I see only 5 digits in the code however you have entered 8. That could be the problem? I see r4234

@Stewart-3 no no Mac ! Acer Aspire Lite Core !

@Chien-Hao I feel the tone of your reply is kind of harsh. It was a mistake, live and learn right?
-
@Azeem I felt exactly the same!
-
@Azeem Yes, absolutely, but to be honest, I was being only factual, if not neutral, as any TPR would and have in many old posts regarding similar time management issues, in the eyes of the company of course.
If the screenshot had been taken at, say, somewhere around 12:23 pm, even though the combination mistakes could still have happened, it shouldn't have taken one much time to figure out that one needs to exclude any letters or one could refresh to get a new more discernable CAPTCHA. However, the screenshot that the OP provided above was actually at 12:26 pm, only one minute away from the latest login-in time allowable specified somewhere in the onboarding training package I guess.
I'm not trying to victim blame anyone, but merely furnish upon a possible company's perspective, since we all know how "harsh" they could be in terms of invalidating absences.
-
@Chien-Hao I understand now that actually your perspective was from the companies stringent absence policies and penalisation. Fair enough. I did wonder why that verification was needed but I get it…because I’m the same, sometimes I login loads of times in a short period of time and then it pops up.

@Masooda Got it, I feel silly LOL

@Wayne-1 I find doing the device test gives me peace of mind that everything is working correctly. It also gives me proof that my equipment was working properly if there are problems later.
Before I do the device test I even check everything in a practice room in case ManyCam is being persnickety that day and I have to restart my computer to get it to play nice.

@Melissa-7 "Persnickety" - I thought that was a typo but I see it's the American version of the word we use here "pernickety" spelled without the s. You learn something new every day!
