  I've noticed this too. I still don’t understand why the developers haven’t increased the entry limit to ten, matching the number of report fields. This would provide a clearer picture of what teachers write about the student.

  @Jennifer-M Thank you for an easy to follow guidance! However, I've been doing all these steps and more. Doesn't work. I honestly believe there's a bug on the platform as I have the issue only on this platform.

  @Melissa-7 "Persnickety" - I thought that was a typo but I see it's the American version of the word we use here "pernickety" spelled without the s. You learn something new every day!

  Yes, I do have a battery backup. When the electricity went out, I was already trying my best to keep the class going. Unfortunately, my backup internet also crashed. I have proof and evidence from the electric company’s page, and they also issued an apology for the outage. Thank you for asking

  @Mina-0 @Sophia-M The last couple of months I’ve been receiving less than five standby hours each month. If it happens again, I suppose I’m going to have to remove myself from standby. In 2023 and 2024 I used to get maybe 30 to 40 a month and most of those I never taught, but now all of my open slots are filled with regulars.

  @Heghine Please check the My Session Page an hour before for the hours you have submitted to the company. If you get 6 absences, you will be terminated. You can cancel all the sessions for the rest of the week by using the Cancellation System under the Teaching tab on your Home Page.

  Hi Rebecca, I encountered the same problem recently. It’s essential to clarify that we will begin our work as soon as we submit our hours, even if there are still outstanding issues or approvals pending. This situation has been incredibly frustrating and perplexing for many of us. I believe it’s unjust for teachers to face penalties or consequences due to these administrative delays, as we are doing our best to fulfill our responsibilities despite the circumstances.

  If you make a cancellation of more than 30 days your account should automatically be suspended.

  What does the student's rating interface look like? Does it let them know that 9 is a "low" rating?

  I had one yesterday, here is a copy of my report so you get an idea. Dear ___ I noticed you entered class briefly but were unable to stay today. Since we couldn’t work together this time, I recorded a short video to cover the vocabulary and learning points from this unit, including words like “diverse,” “preservation,” and “poaching.” 🐘📚 Please review the video when you can and try to make your own sentences using five new words, such as “A naturalist works to protect animals in the wild.” If you have time, read a short article about endangered species or national parks and underline any unit vocabulary you recognize.
