Is it necessary to complete assigned tasks?

I have been assigned Junior Orientation and Child Protection for Online Classrooms. I do not wish to teach children. Can I ignore these so that I wont get assigned children's classes? Will the algorithm penalize me such that I get fewer adult classes if I ignore these?

@Daniel-468 Hi Daniel, teaching children is not mandatory, but it does help in diversifying classes and having fuller schedule. I'm sure the algorithm won't penalize you for not doing the training.

@Marko-I Hi! Just jumping on this thread - do you think it's financially feasible to only teach adult classes?
Because I have seen the feedback for the kids' classes, and it sounds terribly frustrating and stressful, with many unfair ratings.

@Nadia-100 To give a different perspective, I've probably had a higher ratio of 'unjust' ratings from adults having a bad day than I have children. It's not all doom and gloom with them!
You can give it a go, if it's not for you then you can always ask for the tag to be removed.

@Stephen-W oh that's good to know! I thought once you committed to kids classes then that was it so I was too scared to try in case I was terrible at it.
