No scheduled classes

@Stewart-5 I don’t know how long this will last, but like anyone else, I’ll take it while I can. There are other teachers like me (few are a part of this community), but I believe we're a small percentage overall. Are most of your classes from regulars and MC reservations too?

Since AI no longer assigns me classes, I’m not sure how things work now. My biggest concern is being hidden from followers.
Afaik the majority of my students actually book me manually and simply choose multiple slots ahead of time once my availability becomes available, their words, not mine.
I think the more regular students you accumulate and the more consistent you are with your availability that should be the case, no ?

@Emmanuel-1 One thing I’ve noticed about having mostly regulars book 1-on-1 classes is that it can actually limit access. With a large number of followers (3170 for me so far), only a small percentage, maybe 1–2%, can reserve classes during a month. Eventually, some may stop checking your schedule if they never see availability.
So far, that hasn’t been an issue for me. I already have over 218 reservations for July, and since I average 15 cancellations a month, I've opened another 20–30 time slots, but they’re mostly 12:30 am (midnight) to 6:30 am in Taiwan, which tend to be the last to fill.

Good point! I had a gap year from Tutorabc ( perhaps a bit longer ) and back at it for a year and a half now. Things are super stable, very happy about that, but I still do get new students so while I don't know what the system is doing I think it works to our benefit!

@Wayne-1 Wow, that's a lot! I did 150 classes this June, even though I am 7-8 months pregnant! Mornings never used to be difficult for me, but now I find them absolutely dreadful.
-
@Alia-9 I know, Alia! The classes and students are available now, so I’m making the most of it while I can. Honestly, I don’t feel like I have much of a choice at the moment. Hopefully, I can cut back on hours starting in 2026. Working an average of 50 hours a week is for the birds!
-
@Alia-9 You are indeed teaching a lot for being 7+ months pregnant. I don't know how you can do that. May the Force be with you!! :)
-
@Wayne-1 Well done, and I agree. Take the work when you can. Once I'm not pregnant, I want to resume my regular working hours, which are around 180 classes.
-
Average working week is around 140 hours per week. I think I personally need to work more than that to keep afloat. 💷

@Azeem @Alia-9 From March to June, I’ve averaged only 3–4 junior 25-minute classes per month. So out of 200+ classes, 98–99% have been 45-minute sessions. At least I get a 10–15 minute break each hour; though I usually go 5–7 minutes over with many of my regulars.
