@Nsumbu Hello and I'm sorry this is happening to you, it is very frustrating. I see that you have taken the right steps to fix the issue, you have a new computer charger now. If your absences were valid, then there is nothing much you can do, I honestly wouldn't waste time appealing because I know what the answer would be. But what I would do is to continue teaching, get a hotspot, a generator (I know it's expensive) or another laptop just in case the battery dies. We work remotely, so having a back up is truly important. I hope this helps.
