Regarding tax - EU residents
-
Hi Teachers!
As a part timer I wanted to inquire if I wanted to declare my income from Tutor ABC in the EU - what address and postcode should I add as a recipient of my service?
And if I manually convert the income to Euros?
Will there be any issue if I add the company's details?
Thanks in advance!

Hi. I live (am a resident) in the EU and declare everything. Here in Italy, I make up an invoice once I've converted the dollar payment to Euros (I use Wise). If you write to Payroll, they will give you a correct address to put on your invoices. In Italy, you legally HAVE TO add the details of the company paying you.

@Amany, you can find some useful information here as well ⬇️
https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/work/taxes/income-taxes-abroad/index_en.htm
It's an official website of the EU.

I live in Portugal and I need to put the address and post code of the company, also their tax number if there's any
-
@Amany That's what I need to do too!
-
@Patrick-115 Do you make up an invoice for the company?? Do you also put their national identification number??
-
@Emma-241 I reached to comm center the gave me the same address in the service agreement but that's pretty much it. No postcode or VAT number.
-
@Amany I used the address and postcode of the company from my Agreement. The tax number isn't required in my tax declaration though.
-
@Amany Companies in Hong Kong don't have VAT numbers. Just leave it blank or put N/A.

Bellow is all I can and will share --for the shake of enrinching the discussion. This is nor recommendation or advice -- as this falls under the scope of sensitive information.
Your income comes from an international source.
Proof of residence is rather tricky in this case especially since you can work from anywhere in the world.
The rest is up to you to figure out and obviously if you are experienced enough save formidable taxation percentages.
