No scheduled classes

Hello @Hadeer
I'm experiencing the same issue for July. I'm actively pressing Teacher Representatives and internal staff for an explanation.
What I can confirm is that teacher profiles are being hidden. One reason for this is excessive cancellations; if you exceed the 15% threshold, your profile will be hidden for at least 14 days. I learned this from a reliable source.
However, there's a larger, unresolved system issue, as profiles are also being hidden without any apparent reason. It's uncertain if we'll ever get a full explanation, but it's crucial for our community to be aware of this problem.

@Emmanuel-1 how would that 15% even be calculated? Would it be the amount of times you cancel? The amount of hours you cancel? The booked hours you cancel or the total percentage that was scheduled that you cancel?
-
@Nada-6 Good question! As I sometimes cancel booked classes, but I rarely cancel the scheduled ones! Does that make a difference?

@Emmanuel-1 Thank you so much for sharing this.In my personal opinion I do feel there might be several more patterns fed into the system that trigger shadow banning or low profile visibility. Like you mentioned we may never fully understand the algorithm, but it would really help if they could at least shed some practical light on when or how the visibility might be restored. It would ease a lot of the anxiety many of us are feeling.

@Hadeer Please refer to the following flow chart that I made:

@Hadeer No. I do not think so. The slot itself whether Orange or Green would still be attributed to the total amount.
-
@Anusha-2 You are welcome. Check my responses I hope they are clear enough.

@Emmanuel-1 The information provided in the Town Hall meeting on 23 May were different from what you are saying. I believe @Chien-Hao used these information as the source for his chart:

Fantastic. Good one!
I stand corrected on the [30]
EDIT
Town Hall meeting slides seem to cover most questions and have sufficient information.
I'm reviewing my previous comments and removing anything that might be misleading to other teachers. My apologies if anything caused confusion.

@Emmanuel-1 Thanks for that, it was very helpful. But let’s say I open o my schedule for the next 4 weeks in advance, before the 19th of the month. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I may need to close a few slots in Jun for example, every Monday and Wednesday at 7 PM for all four weeks in July. Would this affect my scheduling or visibility? If yes, when will the AI start to "love me" again? Because honestly, it doesn’t feel like a simple 14-day ban or a case of lowprofile visibility.

Thank you @Sanja-52 for posting the relevant slides from the latest Town Hall Meeting. For those who are interested in the exact discussions we had about scheduling issues and cancellation rates, please refer to this post.
-
@Anusha-2 For sure! I have also edited my information because both @Chien-Hao and @Sanja-52 have provided excellent and much clearer information.
Based on what I have just read , which seems very lenient, you should have absolutely no issues.
The only thing I'd keep from my statements is the threshold percentage. But again at this point it is just speculation as to what the actual amount is.
-
@Emmanuel-1 During the town hall, Matthew clearly stated that management won’t disclose the cancellation threshold percentage to prevent us from calculating it. If you rely on AI-assigned classes, I strongly recommend avoiding the cancellation system for anything within 48 hours (unless absolutely necessary). However, canceling green dots more than 4 hours in advance does not make you invisible. I regularly remove green dots (between 4-48 hours) when regular students cancel on me and haven’t experienced any shadow banning.
-
@Wayne-1 ah the mysterious cancellation threshold. Undisclosed it shall remain ^^
The green dots are what concerns me that's why I haven't cancelled in a while but it's worth a shot!
-
@Emmanuel-1 Actually, we don’t know the figure for the “certain level,” and we don’t know how it’s calculated. Apart from knowing that the cancellation rate is based on the last 14 days, we don’t know anything else.
-
@Sanja-52 My source was unreliable ^_^
-
@Wayne-1 If you regularly cancel the green dots 4 hours before time, it will still add to your cancelling rate apparently. And if it's the same day or hour more than once, your AI scheduling around that time will get affected, too. This is what I've understood, I may be wrong.
