Weeks later, account still not reactivated :-(

  • Can someone assist, kindly?
It's been weeks since my account was suspended due to 2 switch-outs that I've appealed and done everything I can to prove I'm not in the wrong. Is there some specific training I need to do to get back to work? Or have I completely lost my job? I really don't know where I stand at this point. Feeling really discouraged:-(

  • @Shirley-23 Suspended for 2 weeks for just 2 switch-outs?

  • @Gavin-0 Yes

  • TPRs

    Hi @Shirley-23
Sorry to hear about the current situation.
I'll send you a DM and hopefully we can get this resolved tomorrow.

  • I may be wrong but, I am sure that we were told in a recent town hall meeting that teachers would no longer be suspended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Emma-241 Well ... I wasn't at the town hall, but teachers are still being "suspended" (might be different types). I received my first one EVER (after 16 years!). I had an absence on April 10 (last-minute emergency) and then on May 1 (simply forgot to log in). I was able to use free passes for both of them.

However, I went "invisible" to ALL my students. I didn't find out until the next day when a student told me they couldn't find me. I completely disappeared from their list of favorite teachers, and they typed "Wayne" into the search and couldn't find me. I started asking my regulars over the next few days, and EVERYONE said the same. I emailed Michael, and he said that the system showed multiple disconnections (only the 2 I listed above), and that's why I was invisible. He quickly fixed it, and I appreciated that. However, my Speak Now tag was removed and hasn't been restored. I've sent 2-3 emails since Friday, and still nothing. I'm still invisible to ALL my Speak Now students :(. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
