Is it a good idea to withhold payment since it is under 500 bucks this month ;<
-
This month is a bit slow and I can barely make it up to 500 bucks. Considering the fee, do you think it is a good idea to withhold the payment?

A salary is a salary, and it's your disposable income as well. Always take time value of money into consideration. If you can afford or don't actuay mind those fees, why not cash in right now? Are you waiting for a more favorable exchange rate? Is the foreign deposit interest rate this month more favorable than your local deposit one? Are you better off without this additional income this month? Will you be able to gain more (e.g., through monthly investment) than you'd lose not receiving it?

I never am willing to pay a fee if I don't have to. Fortunately I am not dependent on this income for my bills, so I can afford to wait. I always postpone if it is going to be less than $500.00.

@Ying-3 Well, with this new fee, if you can afford to, postpone it. 🙌

I always postpone it to save some fees.

Can someone please clarify: if the payment currency has been changed to GBP, will there still be a transfer fee if the total amount is below $500?
-
@Harleen-1 No transaction fees under £300 = $404 for GBP transfers.
-
@Marko-I So if it's over 300 GBP, there won't be any transfer fees, right?
-
@Harleen-1 Yes, as it is shown.

@Marko-I Thanks Marko!
